Jessica is an Irish Barrister-at-Law and is Of counsel to SQ Law.

Jessica brings to the firm her international background and multi-jurisdictional experience. Having received her legal education in Ireland, Belgium and France, she then went on to practice law in France, Australia, Chile, England and Italy, working in these countries for many years in both the private and public sectors for private law firms, public companies and international organizations.

As befits her experience she is a true practitioner of international law. Her private international law practice comprises arbitration, aviation, insurance law and transnational commercial litigation. She advises insurance companies on strategies for dealing with complex claims which are in litigation or arbitration in both Italy and South America. She also advises and acts as a consultant to insurance companies on claims management and claims auditing techniques. She undertakes aviation catastrophe work having advised and managed various fatal air accidents in both Italy and South America.

Her public international law practice comprises advising on cases of diplomatic and general immunity, defence of UN employees in post catastrophic situations and internal United Nations (UN) and ILOAT appeals

Jessica is a member of the American Society of International Law, the Irish Society of European Law and ArbIt.
