Employment law

Our employment specialists serve clients in a wide range of sectors and cover issues and claims involving all aspects of domestic and international employment law.

At SQ Law we help clients find the right course through legislation that changes frequently and is often complex and confusing. Our aim is to help effectively manage risk, implement change and capitalise on key business opportunities by providing accurate and unrivalled commercially focused advice.

We provide standard policy documents for employers including disciplinary and grievance procedures, consultancy agreements, written terms of employment and employee handbooks; we give advice on dismissals, industrial relations and collective issues, the protection of businesses through restrictive covenants and confidentiality; we conduct contractual negotiations when an employer is looking to appoint or dismiss an employee and seek court remedies such as injunctions in order to protect a business; we handle the employment issues that arise when corporate transactions and re-organisations take place, including outsourcings, both on a domestic and international basis.

We also assist and advise companies on matters concerning social legislation and disputes between employers and public administration, (e.g. inspection and vigilance committees), dealing with contributions and social security.
